Paralegal Supporting the USAO - (Burlington, VT)

FSA has an immediate vacancy for a Paralegal I to assist in the Criminal Division of the US Attorney's Office. In this roll the Paralegal will be providing a variety of direct support assistance services to the AUSAs and investigators. Typical responsibilities will include: Support of its current investigation of an approx $400 million, 8-year fraud related to the EB-5 development programs at Jay Peak Resort and elsewhere in northern Vermont. Receive, upload, and organize documents and other forms of data in connection with this case. Assist attorneys, investigative agents and other staff in conducting searches for info within the uploaded data. Assist in producing evidence to the defense, again using the office's electronic case management system. Fields and logs phone calls and questions from members of the public seeking info Obtains needed info for files and submits details to the appropriate AUSA. In preparation of documents, considers the nature and the status of the case involved.
