Insurance Support Coordinator - (Peoria, IL)
SUMMARY: The Business Insurance Lines (BIL) Support Coordinator provides clerical support in a variety of administrative functions to allow Pearl Insurance Solutions (PIS) Retention Representatives and Technicians to focus on the renewal and processing of new and existing business. This position supports and implements the policies, procedures, and corporate values of the department and the Pearl Companies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that all incoming applications are complete and are forwarded to the Application Center in a timely manner. Reviews incoming Certificate of Insurance requests to ensure coverage is in compliance and coordinates with the Service Center to finalize the request. Facilitates mid-term endorsements and contacts respective carriers/wholesalers to request change. Works daily in the various Client Relations/Technicians boxes when necessary and responds to customer inquiries regarding requests for copies of policies, clarification of coverage, etc.
