Employer Director, Research Division Large Serves as the chief operating administrator of the Carlsbad Environmental Monitoring & Research Center (CEMRC) to include direct oversight of NMSU employees as well as acting as a liaison to non-NMSU agencies working within the CEMRCfacility. Provides oversight of administrative planning and technical operations, serves as the figurehead for general public outreach, responsible for staff supervision and management of the scientific programs. Oversees the day-to-day financial transactions, responsible for facility-wide budgeting and tracking of monthly expenditures, oversees strategic planning, capital asset planning; as well as facility renovations and improvements. Develops funding proposals for federal grant and/or contract renewals as they come due or as new opportunities arise; manages all aspects of procurement for the facility including asset management and inventory tracking; and serves as the administrator for human resource activities.
