Service Advisor/Service Writer (second Shift) 5k Sign-on Bonus!! bonus service dealer Job Purpose Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the customer and technicians - which involves scheduling repairs, assigning work to technicians, preparing repair orders, billing repair orders, entering work orders into computer system, ordering shop supplies according to procedures and consulting with insurance companies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates. Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs. Provide outstanding communication to customers regarding their job orders by preparing estimates for repair work and parts; monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing. Collaborate closely with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
