The primary purpose of this position is to develop templates for, or lay out, construct, assemble, and install unconventional, one-of-a-kind aircraft sheet metal items, systems, or apparatus for a one-time progect or in support of experimental or testing activities Responsibilities Plans and lays out work with a minimuum of accompanying details, to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, and install unconnventional, one-of-a-kind aircraft sheet metal items for a one-time project supporting experimental or testing activities. Modifies aircraft frame segments, such as metal structural members and reinforcements, Use basic hand and power tools such as hammers, chisels, had snips, band and circle saws, squaring shears, seamers, bar folders, brakes, and stakes, and adapts them to special use for the specific project,
