Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during diagnostic procedures. Perform MRI scans per MRI Technologist position summary. Must be certified and registered in MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). Assure scan protocol changes are communicated to all MRI technologists including mobile technologists. Collaborate with radiologists. Recommend new procedures/protocols/services/equipment.
