Nurse Scientist - (Knoxville, TN)

Job description: Nurse Scientist Degree: PhD in Nursing, RN current license, State of Tennessee Required experience: Background in planning, coordinating, administration and evaluation of research and evidence-based practice initiatives for a Nursing Division and/or Magnet designation highly preferred. Background in grant writing highly desired. Demonstrated knowledge of research design and methodology. Demonstrated knowledge of framework for conducting clinical research studies through and including dissemination. Demonstrated strength in communication abilities, both oral and written. Demonstrated excellence in analytical, organizational and time organizational skills. Typically requires seven - ten years of background in conducting research, with at least five years of these being responsible for leading clinical research teams with a proven record of successful research study completion and dissemination of findings.
