Fort Knox is an open:pit gold mine located near Fairbanks, Alaska in 1 of the largest gold producing areas of the state. It is mined by conventional open:pit methods, with ore processed at a mill and heap leach facility. Fort Knox has 1 of the few cold weather heap leach facilities in the world. Position summary 13; The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for mine technologies in the field. These include truck and shovel fleet management systems, with state of the art optimization technology, in a real:time environment to include high precision GPS systems for grade and material control. The successful applicant will be responsible for a team of Dispatchers and Dispatch Technicians while continuously improving mine operations productivity and efficiencies. Also responsible to additional departments in regards to cost and maintenance tracking activities. 13; Job assignments 13; :Plan and execute work activities to meet production schedules and mining plans.
