Maintenance Technician (Job Number:443594) Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION: Work involves a variety of the following duties: Replacing light bulbs, electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors; using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings; repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks; replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles; replacing damaged or discolored ceiling tiles; hanging doors and installing door locks; replacing broken window panes; fastening equipment or structures to concrete flooring; and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Shall develop and/or utilize facility floor plans, layouts, and system furniture designs to facilitate general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
