Mechanical Drafter - (St Joseph, MO)

Job summary: Responsible for detailing and drafting of belt, screw, and drag conveyors, and bucket elevators. Maintains direct contact with the design engineer. Generates general arrangement drawings for belt, screw, and drag conveyors, and bucket elevators. Generates fabrication detail drawings for all equipment manufactured by CSC. Interact as necessary with plant supervisor to provide clarity of detail during fabrication. Position assignments: ? Works directly with design engineer to produce general arrangement drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic photos for equipment to be manufactured by CSC for customer approval. ? Creates assembly and parts details from approved general arrangement drawing suitable for fabrication, welding and fitting, and final assembly. ? Assigns part numbers to all assemblies, buy-outs, etc. that are required during the detailing process. ? Provides final raw materials list to purchasing department in the format required for ordering from vendors.
