Our well known and highly respected client in Athol, MA, L.S. Starrett, has immediate first shift openings for Assemblers. These positions have a great schedule that will have you working 6:00am to 3:30 or 4:30pm. These positions start at $13.00/hour with the potential for an increase at the three month mark. Although this is a temporary position, there is opportunity to be hired on with good performance if the workload demands. As an Assembler you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to: Machine operation Assembly Quality control of assembled parts Skills/Requirements of the Micrometer Assembler: Manufacturing background wanted Background with micrometers and dial indicators are a plus Good hand eye coordination required Expertise to sit for long periods of time Expertise to lift up to 10 pounds throughout the shift Solid work experience
