Buyer , Strategic Components and Indirect Materials - (Newnan, GA)

Responsible for all purchasing functions for E.G.O. North America including sourcing, negotiation and supplier maintenance. As a member of E.G.O.'s global Purchasing team responsible for Strategic Purchasing projects and other sourcing activities in North America. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties that may be assigned: Creates tenders and analyses quotes to prepare the selection of parts and suppliers Evaluates new and existing suppliers and their capabilities. Assesses short term and long term impacts of potential supplier or product changes by considering all aspects, e.g. inventory and capital impacts and logistics costs. Creates and updates purchasing agreements for new and existing suppliers. Maintains purchasing quality records. Creates, coordinates and monitors project-specific requirements planning (ramp­ up, SOP)
