Care Connector/ Medical Data Entry Contract - two + months Location - North Charleston, SC 29405 Knowledge/Experience/Understanding/Requirements required: Health/Medical Terminologies, Data entry,Health insurance/Provider enrollment, Utilization review/Prior authorization COMPLETE DESCRIPTION - Education and Training: High-school diploma or GED equivalent required. Professional training for a business-related profession. Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft office (MS WORD, MS EXCEL, POWER POINT). Consistent ms word processing speed and accuracy of 50 or more words per minute. Under the direction of the Bright Start Supervisor, this position will support the Bright Start department with data entry tasks such as entering data and creating authorizations. Principal Accountabilities: Collects needed info to enter authorizations. Maintains positive verbal and written customer services. Interacts with internal and external business partners.
