Libraries Computing Infrastructure Manager - (Norfolk, VA)

This position manages the computing infrastructure, technology training, and help desk of the University Libraries. It administers and maintains library-supported application servers and is the backup administrator of EZproxy and other systems. Min Requirements Expert knowledge of Windows and OS X in a managed desktop environment. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, communication, and project management expertise. Familiarity with PC and Mac hardware and software. Strong computer skills around desktop and mobile devices. Expertise to work both independently and collaboratively in a demanding and rapidly changing service-oriented environment. Expertise to learn and apply new technologies independently. Expertise to prioritize effectively and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Preferred Requirements Some background working in academic environment. Some background with Ivanti and JAMF. Some supervisory background. Demonstrated project managerial experience.
