Come work for MnDOT the nation’s leader in the Transportation industry Under general supervision, an employee performs road surface maintenance activities to keep the roadways and roadsides safe and in good repair according to MnDOT standards; assist in the maintenance and operation of snow and ice control; performs related work as required. Some examples of work for this position are listed below but not limited to the following: Perform all activities required for roadside maintenance. Perform all roadway surface maintenance activities. Service and make minor repairs to operating equipment. Provide traffic control. Perform technical duties; i.e., contract admin, materials, traffic, surveys, design, etc, as needed Maintain roadways for snow and ice control Maintain documentation for snow and ice data The incumbent is required to be immediately accessible to a phone and be able to report to work within 1 (1) hour of being called.
