Plant Security Monitor all traffic in and out of the plant, both on foot and by vehicle Ensure each person entering the Guardhouse has a positive background Theft prevention including searching personal effects, vehicles and equipment Closely monitor all CCTV equipment for all locations Make regular rounds throughout the facility checking for any hazards or intruders Operate and monitor the central communication system Emergency Response Respond to all emergency notifications. Take action as needed. Become familiar with and monitor the fire systems Monitor police scanner for severe weather or nefarious activities near the facility If necessary, contact EMS or Police and direct/escort them to the proper locations Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents
