Counsel - Operations and Retirement Products - (Appleton, WI)

Summary The attorney in this position will provide legal guidance for operations, underlying the distribution and administration of insurance and investment products and services. The position will also serve as the primary legal support for Thrivent's retail retirement package business, including IRAs, 403(b) plans, SEPs, and SIMPLEs. This attorney will also be responsible for monitoring legal developments in the retail retirement program area, including fiduciary issues, and advising business partners accordingly. The attorney in this position will be critical in providing well-reasoned, concise counsel on current, proposed, or anticipated business activities, while balancing business-oriented goals with legal risk.
