Volunteer Coordinator - (Davenport, IA)

Family Resources is looking for an organized, well connected and personable Volunteer Coordinator. This position will coordinate the volunteer program for Family Resources. Supervise, recruit, and coordinate training of agency direct and indirect volunteers. Assist in the development of strategic plan initiatives related to volunteer activities. Coordinate outreach efforts to recruit volunteers and be able to effectively engage prospective volunteers into work that meets the desires and mission of Family Resources. Provide crisis sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, homicide and other violent crime counseling advocacy services training. Maintain confidentiality according to agency policy. Support Survivor Services Supervisors in coordinating training for new employees.
