Stock Clerk - Warehouse - (Laie, HI)

POSITION PURPOSE: Checks order forms for proper coding of quantities requested and authorized approvals. Ensures that deliveries are made to proper departments. Also monitors food temperature during working hours. Maintains inventory levels and notifies supervisor at established reorder points. Ensures vendor deliveries are stocked in warehouse or supply room and conform to purchase orders as to quantity and quality. Reports on spoilage and stock damage. Marks items with identification codes and dates to prevent waste. Contacts established vendors for routine supplies. May operate a computer terminal. May drive a forklift to stock and deliver supplies. May need to assist with price analysis. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitors inventory levels; prepares purchase orders when stock items reach reorder point. Examines received items to verify conformance with specifications and purchase orders. Marks items with identification codes. MIN REQUIREMENTS: In good health and have good eye sight.
