Copy Editor The Walla Walla Union-Bulletin is a small, 6-days daily print and digital community-focused newspaper in Southeastern Washington's Walla Walla Valley. Our company values include a commitment to a community leadership and a respectful relationship with our readers and the communities we serve. The copy editor is responsible for page design, copy-editing, headlines and digital workflow. Strong grammar, punctuation and style, expertise to meet aggressive deadlines. Flexible and team-oriented, like to learn new things and are at home with the tech needed for copy editing, page layout and posting to the web and social media. You will be part of a four-person team responsible for all news and feature pages and multiple specialty pubs. We use InDesign for page layout and TownNews for our web CMS, and we print Monday-Friday afternoons and Sunday morning. This position includes occasional Saturday shifts. Solid news judgment and editorial skills are a must.
