Storage Engineer / Architect - (Des Moines, IA)

Must have background with high end EMC, Hitachi andor IBM storage in a distributed environment. Architect activities - Guide clients with architecture decisions - Assist in developing migration plans for diverse storage systems to a common platform - Assist in development of tiered storage offerings Engineering activities - Provisions storage based on client request - Provide configuration support - Provide performance management of storage infrastructure as required - Assess and recommend changes as required to enhance client DR plans - Participate in the client schedule DR exercies - Provide best practice configuration and design services in line with EMC and industry best practices - Configure, perform, and validate data replication strategies as required by client - Background in the storage environment (technical and hands-on) of at least 5 years - Good written and spoken communication expertise - capable of performing in a consultative manner in client settings - Extensive Disaster Recovery background -
