Winery Estate Sous Chef - (Napa, CA)
Round Pond, a family-owned, sustainably farmed Napa Valley estate, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our winery’s Hospitality and Special Events team. The Round Pond Winery Sous Chef must show proven capacities in the following areas: • At least one – three years in a chef position of a restaurant, tasting room, or hospitality destination; inclusive of all culinary positions from appetizers, grilling, sauté, fromage, as well as deserts and pastries. The applicant will need to be able to execute all responsibilities independently and efficiently. • Sound knowledge of wines and winemaking. Food & Wine pairing knowledge is essential. Sous Chef The Round Pond Estate Sous Chef reports to the Winery Chef of Round Pond Estate and has the following responsibilities: • Assist in day-to-day management of all operational aspects of the kitchen to include all food ordering on a weekly basis. • Assist in training and supervision of all kitchen staff at the winery.
