Attorney-Advisor (Contract) - (Laurence G. Hanscom Field Airport, MA)
Duties Duties Summary The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a legal advisor, providing support to the office for all ethics and acquisition law issues to include interpretation of statutory and regulatory precedent related to ethics and contract law matters, and legal support to organizations within the Center. Responsibilities Reviews contracts at any stage in the procurement process for compliance with applicable law and regulations. Serves as lead attorney on complicated contract and privatization problems, including protests to the General Accounting Office, various district and federal courts and claims/disputes/appeals filed with the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. Provides assistance and advise to lesser experienced civilian and military attorneys on all facets of contract law. Plan, organize and direct the Ethics Program, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and provide oral and written advice on all ethics and standards of conduct matters.
