Assistant General Counsel - (Denton, TX)

The Office of General Counsel at the University of North Texas System is seeking to hire an Assistant General Counsel to join our team. This position will be located with a team of attorneys and support staff on the campus of the University of North Texas in Denton. Travel to other UNT System locations is required to provide the high-quality client service that is the hallmark of the office. This position will have a specific portfolio in the areas of business, finance and transactional matters, including all legal aspects of contract negotiation, drafting, review, and approval. This position will provide legal advice and guidance regarding finance and procurement, leasing, licensing, sponsored research, export control, real estate, construction, and other matters relating to business law, as well as public details requests relating to business, finance and transactional matters.
