Utility Worker - (Fort Wayne, IN)

Huntertown--Indiana The Town of Huntertown is accepting applications for a full time Utility Worker-- Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: working with municipal water and sanitary sewer systems and infrastructure, such as wastewater lift stations, sanitary sewer collection system and water distribution network; utility locates; snow plowing; and various street maintenance activities. Successful candidate must be able to take a rotation of on-call after hour duties and occasional overtime. Candidate must live within thirty (30) miles from Huntertown. Normal Hours: seven a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday-- Compensation range: between $15.45 to $21.70 per hour, depending on background. Education and Background: Candidate must possess a high-school diploma or equivalent; a valid Indiana Driver's License; and be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screening. Previous background in a municipal utility setting is preferred.
