Infrastructure Project manager - (Madison, WI)

Project Manager two Madison, WI six months contract Description This position will provide project management duties for IT-related projects and initiatives that cannot be put on hold until the vacancy created by a state employee departure is filled. Working together with other BITS andor division staff, this position will enable BITS to provide technology solutions and support to assist DWD staff to manage their workload demands and stay on schedule with critical business timelines for projects to implement federal and state mandated programs, make business process improvements - as well as refresh technology to assure that IT applications continue to perform as needed. This position will participate in capacity planning and work with managers and team leads to secure resources for projects. The project manager will work with Bureau of Info Technology Services (BITS) Supervisors, Team Leads and staff to develop timelines, budget and scope of projects as well as other project artifacts.
