Construction I & E Ownerâ??s Rep - (Hahnville, LA)

SUMMARY: Coordinates, administers and follows construction projects issued by engineering. Monitors construction contractor performance to ensure excellence in safety, quality, schedule and cost results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts daily safety inspections. Conducts BBP (safety) observations and documents them in a database Interact with contractors on safety policy and procedures. Drives safety practices, processes and rules as required to meet "0" injuries on all activities. Plans with production and maintenance groups to schedule new construction activities in conjunction with routine Production and Maintenance operations. Organizes set-up and dismantle of temporary facilities for projects. Coordinates project requirements with Construction Managers, Design Engineering personnel, Contractor Management, Superintendents, Foremen and Project Engineers and Project Managers. Reports on status of project in the assigned work to Construction Manager.
