Firefighter - (Caledonia, MI)

FIREFIGHTER The Charter Township of Caledonia is accepting applications for the position of a full time Firefighter. Duties include responding to fire, medical and other emergency calls, as well as administrative and/or general maintenance tasks, as assigned. This job mandates a high-level of proficiency and knowledge in firefighting and EMS procedures, and the expertise to perform administrative and/or maintenance tasks. Must possess current CPR, Medical 1st Responder (EMT Basic preferred), Hazmat - Operations Level, Drivers Training Certificate, and State of Michigan Fire Fighter one and 2 certifications. Must possess a valid State of Michigan driver's license, with less than 4 (4) points. Candidates who are qualified will have at least 2 yrs of background as a fire fighter post Fire Fighter 2 Certification. It is anticipated that firefighters will work 24-consecutive-hour shifts, living at the station for the entire period. This position is hourly.
