Job Description **This is a longterm contract position with the potential to go direct** POSITION OVERVIEW Responsible for developing powertrain systems to provide drivetrain solutions. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :Development and deployment of embedded software :Understanding of CAN and ECU schematics :Understanding of automobile powertrain products as well as their functions :Documentation :Teamwork :Communication EDUCATION and BACKGROUND :Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent :Masters preferred. :5+ years background: embedded software; auto industry preferred. :AUTOSAR or equivalent background in embedded operating system. :Matlab Simulink/Stateflow preferred. :Model and source code debugging skills. :Current understanding of C programming language for embedded systems. :Expertise to generate efficient C source code from model:based designs. TargetLink preferred. :Software engineering : CMMI or SPICE preferred.
