Senior Network Engineer - (Frederick, MD)

Position description SUMMARY The Fort Detrick Network Engineering Support Team provides design and development of websites capturing high visual aesthetics and functionality while complying with all Federal, DoD and U.S. Army policies, regulations and guidance (e.g., PKI, Section 508, Operational Security, DoD and Army security and access control and details security). The team provides LAN/WAN/I:CAN support, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting for, or on behalf of the US Army 93D Signal Brigade, Network Enterprise Center at Fort Detrick, MD. All work is coordinated and evaluated on a regular basis for accuracy and adherence of meeting the customers requirements by the Government POC in the Network Support Services Branch of the Network Enterprise Center. RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors network health through the use of Enterprise System Management (ESM) tools. Provides proactive network problem reporting to the Tier one Help Desk personnel.
