Systems Engineer - (Auburn Hills, MI)

Position overview ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Manage review of customer qualifications with Cross:functional Engineering team :Negotiate requirement compliance, clarification and deviation with customer :Develop Hybrid battery conceptual design to meet customer qualifications :Develop system and sub:system qualifications documents based on agreed qualifications :Design and conduct functional and validation tests to demonstrate system compliance with agreed qualifications. :Data analysis of test and vehicle data to evaluate battery performance metrics or determine root cause of malfunctioning vehicle/battery :Performs other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals. QUALIFICATIONS :Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering (Masters degree preferred) :3:five years background in the automotive industry in areas of hardware, software or systems engineering. :Disciplined root cause analyasis procedures: 8D, 5Y, DFMEA, PFMEA
