CNC Machinist - (Beaumont, TX)

Position overview JOB SUMMARY: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Supports daily manufacturing work schedule, meeting all goals of NOVEMBER objectives, policies and procedures. PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: :Under minimal direction of a supervisor, responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as, but not limited to lathes and milling machines. :Performs own setups and runs pre:programmed and established jobs to meet demand. Must be able to read and edit programs if necessary. :Responsible for loading parts, proving tapes, operating controls, setting offsets, advanced edits, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to qualifications. :Plans machining by work orders, manuals, blue prints, engineering plans, materials, specifications and machining parameters.
