2nd or 3rd Shift Supervisor : Plastic Injection Molding - (Elgin, IL)

Position description *Hourly Rate is negotiable based upon background* This position is a 45 hour per week position : Overtime rate of time and a half is paid after 40 hours. This position is for third shift, but we are willing to discuss the option of other shifts. Job Purpose: The Shift Supervisor directs and coordinates activities concerned with production of the Molding Department through direct contact with subordinate personnel. Main Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Accountable for the performance, training and equipping of all subordinate personnel on assigned shift; responsible to enforce all disciplinary actions on assigned shift 2. Responsible for the performance of all injection molding machines on assigned shift 3. Oversee the operations of all machines during assigned shift 4. Coordinate production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with policies, principles and procedures 5. Confer with other management personnel to establish production and quality control standards.
