CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer - (Jackson, MI)

Position overview Skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist. first, second and third shift availability. 500.00 monthly bonus for second or third shift positions. JOB RESPONSIBILITY :Programming, set up and operating CNC mills and lathes :Programming, set up and operating Mitsubishi Wire Edm. :Responsible for numerous machining techniques including milling, drilling, reaming, grinding, sanding, etc. :Layout parts to meet blueprint specifications using calipers, gages, etc. :Squaring up material, picking up offsets, set up tooling. :Expertise to use Manual Machines, Drill Press, Surface Grinder, Mills, and Lathes. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS :Proficient reading blueprints :Understanding of CAD systems and software :Expertise to utilize standard inspection tools to verify parts meet print specifications :Advanced math skills :Expertise to work in high pressure situations under deadlines :Must be a team member, detail oriented and have great communication abilities :Must be willing to work overtime as required
