Description: To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Background, and Stewardship by providing--pulmonary function testing to our patients in a professional, confidential, timely, and caring manner. Appropriately identifies patients, reviews medical history and any prior test results.Ensures patient is comfortable for the test.Ensure equipment is maintained in working order at all times. Contacts biomed for any noted equipment concerns.Perform pulmonary-function, lung-capacity, diffusion capacity and blood and oxygen tests to gather data for use by the physician in diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disorders.Appropriately documents the results of the test being performedAnalyzes the test results to ensure they have all required data for physician interpretation.Produce and complete all paperwork and computer entries needed to finalize each task.Performs related duties as assigned and willingness to learn new skills and continue education throughout job course.Confers with patients in
