Position summary To be considered, you must include a full resume Position duties Shipping and Receiving will handle incoming and outgoing shipments for a manufacturing company. Specific duties will include: * Examining incoming and outgoing shipment contents and comparing with records, (such as manifests, invoices or orders) to verify accuracy * Preparing documents, such as bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials * Determining shipping methods for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, rates, and customer request. * Recording shipment data, such as weight, fees, and damages and discrepancies for purposes of reporting, accounting and record keeping * Use on-line shipping services to make arrangements for shipping and delivery of materials * Pulling orders * Filling and stocking production line * Staging and palletizing product * Performing Quality checks to ensure that products are going to the correct areas Position responsibilities Must be dependable
