Laboratory Chemist - Level II Location: Culpeper, VA Rate: $30.00 - $38.57/HR Duration: six month contract Must be a U.S. Citizen Duties: Our client is looking for a Laboratory Chemist to join our facility in Culpeper, Virginia. This position is part of the Materials and Process (M&P) Engineering discipline and will support Solid Propellants and Materials related tasks. Working under general supervision and following established policies and procedures, you will conduct a variety of standardized testing. You will assist in the set-up and operation of various types of instrumentation and wet chemistry methods. Assistance in data reduction and report generation is also required. 85% - Perform routine laboratory analysis of chemicals and energetic materials to include particle size analysis, titrations, moisture analysis, and other testing as required. 15% - Consolidate results, prepare findings for reports and distribute results.
