Job summary General Summary: The Quality Engineer position handles internal and external issues. Reports to: Quality Manager Min Qualifications: xF0B7; three years of previous quality engineering background or exhibit the aptitude for being trained into the position. xF0B7; The expertise to use basic measurement equipment, i.e. calipers, micrometers, length scales, check fixtures, and other equipment as necessary. xF0B7; The expertise to read customer prints / GD and T. xF0B7; An understanding of basic mathematics. xF0B7; Have the expertise to communicate effectively. Job qualifications: xF0B7; Assist in Quality System Maintenance. xF0B7; Continuous Improvement. xF0B7; Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns. xF0B7; Creation of PPAP and Inspection documentation. xF0B7; Customer Quality Interface.(visits customers) xF0B7; Process Audits. xF0B7; Maintenance of Print Control Log. xF0B7; Internal Quality Audits.
