Job Description Job description The Test Technician supports the Product Development Process (PDP) with Design Verification and Product Validation testing in The North American Automotive Center. Critical functions and Responsibilities of the Test Technician Setup and perform tests or measurements of engine or chassis systems and components Document test results and provide to Test Engineering team Test planning and estimating of cost and timing for assigned test requests Provide equipment maintenance for assigned test systems. Responsible checkout, use and storage of Test Lab instrumentation Ensure that test rig safety systems are maintained and work as expected Experience required experience, Skills and Abilities of the Test Technician Min High-school diploma and 3 yrs background as an automotive related technician or Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent degree Good Mechanical understanding Expertise to interpret technical drawings Proficient Ms office technical skills Basic technical
