Flame Hardening Operator - (Lima, OH)

Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring a Flame Hardening Operator for our operation. The Flame Hardening Operator is a member of our Heat Treat Department responsible for maintaining and operating equipment to flame harden our product to specified hardness requirements. Starting wage for this position is $18/hr. This is a third shift position. Responsibilities: Preventative maintenance on all furnaces, quench units, and flame hardening equipment Inspection of furnaces and flame hardening lathes Setup and operation of furnaces, quench units, and flame hardening equipment Condition, quench, temper, and flame harden rolls to specification Timely reporting of equipment problems and issues Perform other department duties, as assigned Physical demands & Environmental Conditions: Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds regularly Exposed to seasonal temperature changes Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration Requirements:
