CONTROLLER Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following: Organize and coordinate the overall operations of the accounting department by scheduling, directing and assigning work responsibilities to all accounting personnel. Responsible for maintaining the permanent financial records of the Company and for reporting current financial standing and recent financial results of operations to Regional Management. Responsible, with support of the accounting staff, for the proper payment of liabilities, processing management charges, processing expense reimbursements, post recurring P.O.'s, downloading property utility charges, processing expense reimbursements, month end close out for each property and entering journal entries from the mortgage billings. Collects, receives, organizes and prepares internal and external financial reports and uses same for forecasting.
