Equipment Engineer - Electrical - Eaton, Ohio Essential Function: An equipment engineer designs, enhances and maintains various electrical, computer or mechanical devices. Specifically this position will focus on the electrical and electromechanical areas of existing equipment and lead the design of new equipment. This equipment can range from wire saws, EDM, cleaning equipment, inspection, and robotic systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support for various manufacturing processes relating to equipment improvementsEvaluates existing manufacturing equipment and recommend/implement improvements that increase reliability, reduce cost, reduce waste, improving safety, etc.Design and execute tests in support of equipment improvementsWrite technical reports, work instructions and present status and results as requiredActively lead programs using gated or phase methodologiesEngage with other engineering teammates and provide cross functional support as neededCreate appropriate tests, research
