CAD Drafter - (Cleveland, OH)

Position summary Job Summary: Drafts designs utilizing computer:aided drafting systems to prepare drawings and designs. Converses with engineers and other subject matter experts to interpret design concepts, determine nature and type of required detailed working drawings, and coordinate work with others. Uses required drafting and mechanical drawing skills, and knowledge of computer:assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software. Completes CAD modeling, manufacturing drawings and engineering calculations for custom engineered product designs using Creo (formerly Pro/Engineer). Provides drafting support to engineering and manufacturing departments. Duties and Responsibilities: All duties and responsibilities are required functions of the position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. * Drafts design drawings. - May compile data, compute quantities, determine materials needed, and prepare cost estimates.
