Draftsman - (Hickory, NC)

Position summary Express Employment has got an opening for someone to join our team as a Draftsman. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D renderings of new designs, or existing components with minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply.) Confer with the Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager as to the objective to be represented in a given project. Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools (micrometer, caliper, CMM, etc.) to accurately gather data for the development of documented items. Production of 3:dimensional models and qualified prints. Verify accuracy and proper application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances. Assist the Quality and/or Manufacturing Departments as needed. REQUIREMENTS To perform this job an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent conceptual skills. Strong attention to detail.
