Packer/Crater - Full Performance - TS/SCI with Polygraph (Security Clearance - (Springfield, VA)

Position summary Performs a variety of coordinating, routing and material handling duties to meet production schedules.--Emphasis on delivering high-quality product and timely service to our customers. With minimal guidance, pack various materials for shipment domestically or overseas. Performs all established packing steps for a wide variety of standard/routine materials. Measure boxes, weigh, cube, banding, burlap, using instapak and other packing material as appropriate. Assist in labeling material as required by the mode of transportation. Assist with measuring and cutting wood; assembling crates for non-standard items. Prepare customer boxes using industrial carton making machine. May have to stand eight - 10 hours per day. Overtime two - 3 nights per week. Safety awareness is a must. Protective equipment required.--1. Expedites parts and supplies to remedy shortage problems.--2.
