Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services - (Hoboken, NJ)

A large not-for-profit health system in New York City is currently searching for a dedicated and motivated Surgical Services Nurse Manager to lead their busy OR. This health system is consistently recognized for clinical quality, high patient satisfaction and safety measures. The Nurse Manager for Surgical Services position is located at 1 of their large Acute Care Hospitals that is a Teaching Hospital and Trauma Center. They are known in particular for their achievement in internal medicine, geriatrics, trauma, bariatric surgery, vascular disease and HIV/AIDS. The Manager will run a Perioperative Service line that consists of over 90 full time surgeons, performing approx 34k surgeries per year. Some specialties include in general surgery, Oncological, thoracic, Cardiac, Trauma and Pediatric. The Nurse Manager of the Operating Room oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the main OR, Sterile Processing, SPU, PACU, Endoscopy, and Anesthesia.
