Associate Veterinarian (DVM) needed for a private owned, small animal (with some Exotics) hospital. Seventy 1st Animal Hospital is centrally located in NC, nestled two hours from the beautiful Atlantic beaches and four hours from the Appalachian Mountains. We offer: Personalized client and pet treatments including embracing a low fear approach to patient handling. Laser surgery and cold therapeutic laser, digital radiographs for diagnostic and dental, ultrasound, Idexx Cornerstone operating system and reference lab, Abaxis in-house lab equipment, doppler and up to date anesthetic monitoring equipment. Excellent mentoring doctors for new or recent graduates including dental techniques and soft tissue surgery. Monday - Friday hours - no after-hours/weekend emergencies. Rotating on call weekends for our boarding pets. Teammates greet clients and pets as they walk in the door and they are eager to help the doctors and each other.
