Description JOB DETAILS: Provides security through daily surveillance of building and adjoining grounds for patients, employees and visitors. Adjusts communications specific to the age, developmental stage, and comprehension level of a population that spans adolescents to geriatrics (excluding newborns). Applies knowledge of cultural factors appropriately in communications and interactions of the population being served. REQUIREMENTS: Previous background / training in security operations preferred. Associate level degree (preferred), or equivalent background, with an emphasis in safety, fire, EMS, or security management. One Year of background in a safety or security related position preferred. High-school degree or GED required. On the job training provided for routine maintenance rounds, i.e., checks of boiler room and penthouse equipment.
