Kelly Services has partnered with a Fortune 500 company that is looking to fill a temporary/Mechanical Technician position in Galesburg MI. The position is paying $18-20 an hour, and is set to last at least a year from the contract start date. DESCRIPTION: Tool-Related assembly of mechanical components according to build instructions, bill of materials, and other specifications. Responsible for the assembly and disassembly of vehicle transmissions and associated components, installation of components and parts, mechanical work on trucks- modifying them as needed for different projects, troubleshooting and repair, performing 5S of assigned areas, moving parts from and to the warehouse and meeting quantity and quality expectations while ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
