Network Architect - (Tallahassee, FL)

Position: Network ArchitectLocation: Tallahassee, FLDuration: Longterm Scope:The Network Architect position is responsible for providing daily support to FDC's network infrastructure. The scope of work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: --- Diagnose and resolve problems across a variety of hardware platforms and applications/brands including Cisco, HP, Linux, Checkpoint, Infoblox and more; --- Communicate and work within cross-departmental teams; --- Identify automation opportunities as well as areas that can be improved to optimize operations, such as documentation and monitoring adjustments; --- Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation; --- Work with Data Center staff, OIT, and users to perform server installations, upgrades, and configuration changes; and --- Research and recommend appropriate technical solutions to meet functional requirements.
